Legends is celebrating it's fourth year of operations! Our President and General Manager is excited to announce that Legends will continue to increase the depth and variety of products and services to it's current and new customers into the New Year!
Legend Games & Collectables: Your Neighborhood Gaming Store!
Legend Games & Collectables was started in the living room of our Founder Kevin MacMillan in the fall of 2002. Kevin had become dissatisfied with the current labour situation and decided to open his own business. It took some convincing but his wife and co-founder Bekki agreed and Legends was born!
Opening at 116, 6800 Memorial Drive in the fall of 2003 on Kevin's Birthday (so he won't forget it), Legends offered a small selection of trading cards, minis, board games, comics and RPG's for the public to enjoy. It was slow going but soon customers began to find the store and tournaments and events began to take place each week.
Legends Now
After nearly two years at their location in Abbeydale, they decided it was time to move up and relocated in December of 2005 to their new location at 107, 2640-52nd stree N.E. in the Village Square Mall next to the Village Square Leisure Center and Lester B. Pierson High School.
Legends is now proud to offer over 700 products and services, weekly tournaments, Gaming and Anime Meetup Clubs, internet access, and two separate gaming areas, all for it's customers!
We are also happy to announce our return to Otafest this May! We are also travelling to Lethbridge and Vancouver this year for the Anime Conventions for each city!
Legends has launched it's online presence in September of 2006!
